We, the People of the City of Lathrup Village, pursuant to authority granted by the Constitution and statutes of the State of Michigan, in order to secure the benefits of efficient self-government, and otherwise to preserve our informal friendly community, do hereby ordain and establish this Home Rule City Charter.
